I see that Nest has compatibility with alarm.com, but I wondered about Nest Protect since there's already a linkage. Customers like the product and want to integrate it for Lutron Lighting. I would want the panel to know the alarm went off and trigger the lighting just as I do through VCRX. Is this possible, and if not, can it be done?

Security systems are compatible, so if I could get an alarm sensor for the alarm panel to know the Nest Protect is communicating a fire, I could have the panel go off. Since Nest Protect uses a dedicated wireless network to communicate between devices, we can't tap into the signal wire as we can for conventional smokes. Also since it doesn't have a conventional harsh alarm sound, we can't use the FireFighter audio sensor.

Ideas? Thanks!
