Need some help with installation

I have a PD-6WCL I'm trying to install. I've installed 5 of these in my home, but for some reason, I can't get the switch/dimmer to work in a new location. In each case of the previous installs, I'm replacing a basic toggle on/off with the Lutron Caseta model previously mentioned. All installs were simply a matter of hooking up the two black wires to the new switch. They all work perfectly. For some reason, while trying to replace another on/off toggle with the Caseta Model, I cannot get any signs of life on the new switch, i.e. no indicator lights. I tested the Caseta in another location, and it works fine. I dont understand why it wont work, and would appreciate any recommendations. Thank you!

What are you trying to control, and is there a load on the dimmer? The dimmer needs to see a load that is higher than the min required to function.

Thank you, Bill. As it turns out, in the time after I posted this question, I read where the load was the issue. Turns out it was a simple fix. Thank you!
