Pico Double Tabletop Pedestal Stand vs Triple Tabletop Pedestal
I have a few "double pedestal" stands. Each were about $20-$22. I recently found a "triple stand" which would be very useful in one of my locations. Only thing i can not figure out is why the triple would be $80 or so???? If I buy a double for $22 and a single for $15, why should a triple be more than 2x the price???? Am i missing something???? Lutron please help!

Think it really comes down to a demand issue. I have a feeling they do not make as many of the 3 as they do the 2 or 1.

I probably shouldn't be adding fuel to the fire here, but we actually offer a quadruple version as well! :)

Please an email to systemsupport@lutron.com and reference this post. I'd like to discuss some different options and talk about your pricing concerns.

I was able to do a little research this morning and found some interesting info on the Pico pedestal pricing. All of our pedestals used to be produced as custom parts. As demand increased for the PED1 and PED2, there were changes made to the manufacturing process that allowed us to produce (and sell) these products at a lower cost. The PED3 and PED4 are still produced "a la carte" and that is why there price is significantly higher. I have listed the old pricing and the new pricing below. With all that being said, $325 seems like a very high price for the L-PED4-WH.
OLD
L-PED1-WH = $60
L-PED2-WH = $80
L-PED3-WH = $100
L-PED4-WH = $120
NEW
L-PED1-WH = $15
L-PED2-WH = $30
L-PED3-WH = $100
L-PED4-WH = $120

Googling "L-PED4-WH" $325 is the cheapest price that comes up. Where can it be found for $120? Even then that is a very high price.

If you visit the following link and put "Trade Professional" under "Who are you?", the tool can provide you with a list of electrical wholesalers in your area. If you contact one of them and ask for pricing on the L-PED4-WH, the price should be closer to the $120 mark.
