    Consolidated guide to basic caseta setup

    I found it useful to put all the information I use regularly on one sheet. Your comments are welcome.

    CASETA GUIDE

    RED = LOAD OUT
    BLACK = LINE IN

    2. AT PICO(s) PRESS OFF BUTTON UNTIL LIGHTS BLINK 3 TIMES. LIMIT IS 9 PICOS/DIMMER.

    SET FAVORITE ON PICO
    1. AT DIMMER(s) RAISE/LOWER TO DESIRED LEVEL
    2. AT PICO PRESS FAVORITE BUTTON UNTIL LIGHTS ON DIMMER(s) BLINK TWICE
    3. MULTIPLE DIMMERS- STEP #2 WILL SET ALL ASSOCIATED DIMMERS TO CURRENT LEVEL

    Excellent list! I've just done a few installs with the new ELV dimmer, and found the error lights flashing (top and middle led's) for a few reasons:
    1. Phase direction incorrect (as per above)
    2. Line and load connections switched
    3. Too high a load (in my case I tried to install this with a total of 12 50W MLV driven halogens). The ELV+ dimmer has a substantially lower load limit for these compared to the Pro dimmer.

    One more thing. Sometimes, the ELV+ dimmer gets stuck on full with status lights flashing, no matter what phasing you set it to. This can be fixed by resetting the dimmer by doing the following:

    1. TOP THE ON BUTTON THREE TIMES HOLDING THE THIRD TAP ON
    2. CONTINUE TO HOLD THE ON BUTTON UNTIL THE LIGHT AND OR STATUS LIGHTS FLASH QUICKLY
    3.RELEASE THE BUTTON AND THEN IMMEDIATELY TAP THE ON BUTTON THREE MORE TIMES.

    This factory resets the dimmer, removes all pairings, etc. and solves the stuck on issue.

    Lightbulb only one thing worked

    I also had the problem with the top and middle blinking. Tried all the steps here to no avail. The one thing that fixed it? Changing the light bulb. The LED bulb failed. A new one did the trick.

    Niall Horan Black Leather Jacket gives off a confident, fashionable vibe. It is very amazing how he can simply update a classic piece of clothing.
