LMJ or Hi-Lume for controlling DiodeLED Tape
Can anybody give me some input on controlling under and over cabinet led tape that's running on a 12-24v driver? I would like to get rid of the driver and prob just use a Hi-lume driver and dim it with a 6NA (one of the options for hi-lume is forward phase dimming to 1%). Seems like the more straight forward solution... not sure if it will have fade on fade off tho... Thanks in adavace

We have some tape LED's tied to some overhead LED pucks in our wine room, connected to a driver, all controlled this way. I can't see the unit right now, but I'll look later on and post it. I think the LED tape was picked up at Home Depot.
They both dim and ramp nicely.

Yeah would be nice if you could let me know what driver it's using and dimmer.

Mister C- keep an eye on that dimmer with the WAC driver. I've had HORRIBLE luck with dimming anything WAC with RA2. Works great on Diva, but horrible with all sorts of the digital (Maestro/RA2/Caseta) dimmers.

OK, will do. We've had zero problems to date, but I'll watch for it.

I've also heard the same...

Any electronic driver you could recommend for my application other than WAC?

I was using a cheap dimmable Magnetic from Westgate with a 10ND. For the absolute best performance, use either the Hi-Lume from Lutron or one of the DC drivers from Q-tran.

I have had good luck with these drivers: https://www.magnitudeinc.com/
Their tech support is good too.
