    Problem with iPhone App and Blinds

    Hello, I am having a few issues adding blinds to the app. I walk through the steps as normal and when it says to hold the button that is flashing until it flashes repeatedly it works but the app stays on that screen. I have other blinds and most of my dimmers set up already but am having issues with a few blinds and one or two wall dimmers. Any ideas why it gets stuck at this point?

    Any chance you are at the 50 item limit?

    How far away (from the Smart Bridge) are the devices that you are having trouble communicating with? If they are around 30ft or further, you could be experiencing a range issue.

    The bridge is in the basement and the issue is on the second floor so i would guess its 30 feet at least. What is odd is I have other blinds and switches up there that connected and work fine from the application. I wonder if its just hit and miss with the connection or do you think it could be related?

    I think it has to do with RF range...I have seen applications where devices are beyond 30ft and communicating just fine, while others are having issues right at 30ft. Please send an email to systemsupport@lutron.com, reference this post, and we can discuss some strategies to help with your RF range.
