Assigning 1 phantom button for multiple shades

    Hi Every one,
I have programmed the shades through telnet commands. and it works fine. We have 11 shades in total. so i had to create 11 phantom buttons.
I want to know how do i group all the shades to single phantom button or how do i assign a single phantom button to multiple shades.

    Thanks in Advance

You can program a phantom button to control multiple shades in the same fashion as controlling single shades.

In your case, create a 12th phantom button and assign each shade, one at a time, to this button. You can add as many shades to each phantom button as you desire. Each shade can also be on multiple phantom buttons.

    Hello everyone!

Regarding the reply above, is there a way to remove single shade from a phantom button without clearing whole programming?

You will not be able to remove one shade from a phantom button in the QSE-CI-NWK-E. However, you can clear programming on one button. The format would be:

    #PROGRAMMING,<NWK ID or serial#>,<button#>,<action#>

The action number to clear programming is 3. Assuming your NWK ID is 'NWK' and you are clearing button #1, the command would be:

    #PROGRAMMING,NWK,1,3

To clear ALL buttons on the NWK, select button #0.

Thank you for reply, clearing programming for single phantom button was figured out experimnentally =)
Anyway, ability to remove single shade from programming would be useful for systems having large amount of shades, if you could consider adding it into future revisions of protocol it would be great!
