Thermostat and humidity, garrage door control

Have a housed that we are looking at RA2 with thermos but we need humidity sensors.
    Any ideas?

Also any fixes for Garage door control for Liftmaster P3 Security + 2.0?
I'm aware of the fix of using a remote and soldering to the contacts. Tried it and it worked but makes you reliable on batteries.
Thinking I can use a wall remote the same way. Just solder and leave on top of unit. Not sure if two wall remotes will work in tandem.
Would love a more Lutronish fix.
Or Just put motion sensor in garage and leave door alone.
This job is nowhere local so want less pieces in the puzzle

    Thanks

    Mitch,
I have used a VCRX with door contacts on the garage door to trigger lights. Give me a call and we can discuss.

    I have too.
Problem is a lot of the new openers don't have contact closer. Lift Master use MyQ. I believe Chamberlain may also
Access garage door still have it. Have these on one of my bigger clients houses.
Have tested the option obove but was see if anyone have a better solution that doesn't require major 3rd party hardware

Nice. 8 years in security systems before 20 years as electrician. You would think I would have remembered a simple door contact.
    Great idea.
Takes care of any need for a sensor

    Thanks

Still trying to get info on this thermo thing.
Some light has been shed on it by SDR but looking for more info if anyone has it.
It's my understanding from the instructions I have found that and Nest or Honeywell WIFI will work with the connect bridge and only in the phone app not tablets.
What kind of control will I get? Basic on/off and adjusting temp +-?
Understand scene control is not supported. IE udgust lights and thermo with one scene. Not a big deal as his current house with Ra2 doesn't use full scene control.

With connect app you get very limited 3rd party thermostats integration. Look at 3rd party apps for more robust integration.
