Homeworks Interactive Help for Dimmers/Switches
I am working on an old Homeworks Interactive system. I did not originally program the system. I have 4 smart dimmers which are not responding to keypad commands. They all seem to work when pressed individually. I have flipped the airgap on them and power cycled the processor to see that helps. But still nothing. I started looking at the program I extracted and clicked on the Address Assignment button and went to see which bus these devices should be on. When I look at the bus they are on, the ones that are not working have the serial numbers in black, while all the others are in blue. Does this mean they are not linked, not assigned correctly or something else?
I am going to start tracing back the 2 conductor wire to see if there is a break or something in it. But any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Update: I was able to tone out the wire for communication from the last dimmer to the bus. It tones out properly and I can short it. No fault found here. So I assume that either it would be the bus on the processor or one or more of the dimmers?

Hello iQAlex,
Thank you for your post.
Next thing to check would be the led status of the buses and the processor. This can be found in the troubleshooting section of the Homeworks Help file in the software. If you require further assistance you can send a support file to hwsupport@lutron.com
