Lutron Designer: beta or stable release?

First off, I don't have a dog in this race.
For simplicity- I use the same software version for all my jobs. Only two jobs I was on had Palladium keypads, forcing me to use the Beta 9.4 (back in February), so I just stuck with 9.4 for all.

These days, I've switched over to 10.0.
Half the guys in my current organization very passionately insist I use the more stable 8.5 (I suppose that's 9.4, now) and the other half insist on 10.0.

Again, I don't necessarily care one way or the other.
In my opinion, I think the issue has more to do with peoples egos than facts

Can anyone weigh in on this?

    Cheers,

    David

I would say look at the release notes for specific versions. If you are not using any of the features needed in the beta then maybe non beta is your choice. I think it comes down to each versions release notes on what there is to gain.
