    Back light intensity

Is it possible to assign a button to adjust the back-light intensity of a Keypad through programming or other ways?

I know it can be manually set but unsure.

    Cheers

    Dear donkeyface,

The back-light intensity can be adjust through programming for the Palladiom keypads. These options can be programmed to a button press or timeclocks. The Palladiom keypad DBM (Dynamic Backlight Management) must be disabled to affect these options.

Unfortunately, the seeTouch keypad back-light settings cannot be changed through programming such a button presses or timeclocks. The settings must be changed in the software and then transferred to the system.

The API exists to set the backlight intensity as you can do it in the design screen. It would be nice if Lutron would add a feature to the timeclock to allow setting the backlight level of keypads programmatically as most other systems have had this feature for a decade or two.
