    6B38/ Model Number

Lutron has experienced situations where our customers are not sure what product they have. We have received a number of inquiries about a "6B38" dimmer. This number is not the product's model number, but rather the UL listing code of the product. With Lutron dimmers/ switches the model number can be located on the side of the device on a white label.

An example of a Lutron model number would be AYCL-153P-WH

If you are unable to find the white label on the side of the dimmer, there are a select few devices where the model number would be stamped on the front of the yoke.
