Shades and power pnl wont assign-On Site Now

Anyone from Lutron available to help me out?
We are on site tryig to assign QS wired shades.
software says there are 0 unassigned shades, but all are unassigned.
We have tried to activate using shade buttons and computer.
    no response.

Of course this site has no cell service....

    Anyone on line?

thefish, are you able to email a support file to hwsupport@lutron.com? Without looking at the project file, we're guessing at possible causes. Are the shades assigned to the proper link on the proper processor?

    Thanks for the reply.
turns out its a bunk 10PNL board. I get no green LEDS on the panel whatsoever. 120V in, 17v or so out. shades roll manually and factory reset.
    Looks like a bad board.
hopefully will have another one on the way in the AM.

I have never really ben a fan of Lutrons panels. I would prefer a blank box we install the parts into later just like processors, etc. Just too much chance for damage in the year they sit on a construction site from rough in to finish. And the fact that that are flangeless makes it even worse, because the drywall guys reef on them.

    Thanks again for the reply

I kind of thought something was up when no LEDs lit up after installing fuses and metering everything out but thought id ask to make sure I wasn't missing something silly.

Turns out the trim carpenter shot a trim nail right through the board from the back side.

From now on I'm removing the boards and transformers until final install.

I sure wish we could just buy the enclosures for rough in.

  7. Thanks Armando B. thanked for this post
