Swapping out a DVF-103P for a Caseta outlet

I installed 30+ caseta outlets and pico remotes yesterday. For the most part, everything went flawlessly! I have hit a wall with one set of lights. With the caseta outlet installed, the lights come up, but remain very dim. My electrician couldnt figure it out either but said it has something to do with a ballast.

The old set up was operated by a Lutron 3 way dimmer, model DVF-103P and worked great. Does anyone know if I could replace this with a Caseta unit?

I called Lutron but had to drop after being on hold for a long time.

    Thanks!

The DVF-103P dimmer is used to control Lutron 3-wire fluorescent ballasts and LED drivers. In order to convert this to a Caseta device, you would need the PD-10NXD dimmer, and also the PHPM-3F-DV-WH 3-wire interface.

What kind of lights are you trying to control? Are they fluorescent or LED bulbs with a Lutron ballast/driver?

Thanks Brian! Im controlling 9 48 inch fluorescent bulbs. They are part of custom pendants the previous home owner had built. They had from a 20 ft ceiling. Any suggestions where the interface should be installed?

If they were working with the DVF-103P, then you would need to use the two model numbers from my previous post.

    Wall dimmer: PD-10NXD-(color)
    Interface: PHPM-3F-DV-WH http://www.lutron.com/TechnicalDocum...ry/369-355.pdf
