Thread: Phase control dimming PowPak

    Cool Phase control dimming PowPak

    Hey Joe:

Is there a phase control Powpak dimming module coming for Vive? It would be nice if it did forward and reverse phase.

    pscheetz,

There is no phase adaptive control at this point. Your only current option is to use a MRF2S-6ELV-120-XX with a PHPM-WBX-XX-WH. This suggestion is noted and I will pass it along to the development team.

Just curious, but MRF2 also has a 6ND. You could use this with a PHPM-PA-120. I noticed in the part number cross reference that the 6ND is not made in an MRF2S version. Is that correct?

We are finding that many LED loads work very well with a forward phase neutral-wire dimmer. Given that you can use it with a PHPM and many LED fixtures, why no 6ND for Vive?

I still think an adaptive PowPak would be a good product, in that it would be a much easier install and probably less expensive than a dimmer and PHPM solution.

    Thank you
