    Question Maestro Occupancy Dimmer Question

I installed some of these Maestro occupancy dimmers and in general they work well except I cannot find a way to make the light stay on if i want it to for example when I am working in an area outside of the scope of the sensor in the room. What I want is a long press or triple tap or some way to tell it to turn on and stay on till i turn it off. it should be a shortcut allowing me to do this quickly and not have to reprogram the unit, however i have not even found an option in the programming allowing it to stay on indefinitely. 9 out of 10 uses the sensor mode is perfect but 1 in 10 i find i need the always on mode and have no way to make it happen.

    Hello groovyd,

Unfortunately our in-wall motion sensors do not offer a bypass feature to indefinitely stay on until it is manually switched off. We do offer products that may solve the times that you are just outside of the sensors range, however this would be achieved with two components. The Maestro Wireless in-wall controls have the ability to link up to RF transmitters, which include motion sensors (wall mounted 180º or ceiling mounted 360º), remote controls and daylight harvesters. The transmitting devices are battery powered and rated to last 10 years before needed to replace the battery. Model numbers that could work for this application are as follows.

Maestro Wireless switch: MS-8S-DV or MS-8ANS-120

    Motion sensor: LRF2-OCR2B-P (ceiling 360º), LRF2-OWLB-P (wall 180º) and LRF2-OKLB-P (corner 90º)

appreciate the response. really wish there was a triple tap for that or something similar. i am a firmware guy, any chance of sending me the code to add it to? i tried finding those mentioned wireless switches on amazon and through westside wholesale and no one carries them. is there a way to get a firmware upgrade of these units? it seems a 'stay on' feature should be a pretty common request for any type of electrical switch, especially occupancy sensors for example when someone is hosting an event or something they want to be sure the lights stay on for even after people leave the room.
