Up to date list / recommendations of LED bulbs for use with RR2 C+L dimmers?

    Hey folks,

How up to date is the list at:
    http://www.lutron.com/en-US/Service-...merMatrix.aspx

For example, this is one of the most popular bulbs on Home Depot but I don't see it listed above.
    http://www.homedepot.com/p/Philips-S...2978/204730356

Does anyone have any up-to-date recommendations for A19 LED bulbs (that are inexpensive) for use with the RR2 C+L dimmers?

    Thanks in advance!

Hi Geofry, we currently have not tested the bulb that you listed above. I would recommend going to http://www.lutron.com/en-US/Service-...merMatrix.aspx in order to check the most up-to-date testing for LEDs. You will also be able to see our testing report for each individual bulb.

Thanks Mike! I went to that page before, but the website is really hard to parse - I tried plugging in a few of the test Philips bulbs in the PDFs but they don't map to anything Amazon or Home depot seems to be selling. Can you or someone else here provide a few examples of LED bulbs available on the Home Depot website (or similar seller) that have been tested good? Thanks!

Edit: Finally found a bulb that's listed on Home Depot:

Quick question - would it be a good or bad idea to mix incandescent light bulbs and these LED light bulbs on the same RRD-6CL dimmer? This is in a bathroom with about 4 BR30 incandescent bulbs and a single G25 bulb over the shower (owner said electrician recommended a CFL at the time over an incandescent in an enclosed light fixture) - I'm pretty sure the G25 is not dimmable, so wanted to suggest a bulb replacement.

Geofry, when you add incandescent bulbs to the same circuit that LEDs are installed on the incandescent act as resistors and generally improve the performance of LEDs. Have the 2 loads types mixed is perfectly fine as long as the load mixing chart is followed and the dimmer is not overloaded.

Thanks Mike! Yes, will make sure the load mixing chart is followed and the dimmer is not overloaded. Is it worth trying the existing CFL with the incandescents? It's not listed as dimmable, but there is a similar Eco-Smart bulb that is listed on Lutron's site.

geofry- if it's not listed as dimmable- it's not. You may see it dim, but the ballast is going to be working way to hard in a fashion it wasn't designed for. We tried that once, ended up scorching a table for our demo.
