Light Won’t Turn Off

After twelve years, my old Homeworks system has a strange issue.

I have one light that will turn on via the programmed keypad or via the web app. The problem is that you can’t turn it off by either method.

The button just flashes once and the light stays on

It is programmed on another keypad as part of a scene and you can turn it off/on from there.

Any ideas?

P.S. My installer had his Lutron tech quit and he erased everybody’s configurations from the company laptop along with the software.

I have been trying to get a copy of the software so I can get a backup before I lose it all.

Update, I contacted Lutron Support and they sent me a link to download 1.65.

I was able to connect to my system and attempt to download the database.

Of course I get a corrupt database just like a lot of other people.

I am off to acquire a USB Serial device for my laptop.

I did use some of the monitoring tools to see what was happening when the button is pressed for that light that one turn off.

The system shows the button being pressed and released but it does not take any further action to shutdown the light.

You can use the dimmer buttons to turn it down/off.

I need to get past this corrupt database issue.

I am going to use the serial port hardware extraction utility and see how it goes.

I ended up using monitoring to gather all the information I could to be able to create an entire new build.

All is well now that I have uploaded a new project.

The light shuts off now.

I made a few other keypad and time clock changes while I was at it.
