Wireless only switch to wireless driver?

Well here I am on a task from the wife. I'll prefix this to say that I currently do not have anything Lutron. I was at a friends house who does though and was amazed at some of the stuff he had setup with light switches etc, so thinking about that and some stuff I could similiarly and then is there is a solution to what I am looking for within the Lutron product family.

A couple years ago I added some puck lights under some small built in bookshelves. I could not run a switch leg to an adjacent wall as there is a transom window in it. Anyways I found an Armacost LED driver, a wireless dimming module and a wall plate (Armacost 511123) that links to it where you can power on the lights and dim them. It just connects wirelessly to the dimming control which is taking up the third bay in a 3 gang box. That part just takes a small batter. Somehow they pair together.

Fast forward. In out kitchen we have cabinets on three different walls, and two of them perpendicular and separated by a door, the third wall is not connected at all to either. One one of the walls I have uppers that are 7 feet apart. I don't want to rip out my walls or spend hours in the attic. I don't mind buying multiple LED drivers. I believe I will need 4 LED drivers. 2 for the two uppers that are separated by 7 feet, 1 for the wall where range is, and 1.

My question. Is there a way I can add "some" type of LED driver with wireless, or an LED driver and a standalone wireless connector like I have now in the bookshelf at each of these locations and use some kinda wall dimming switch by Lutron that could connect wirelessly or pair with all 4 drivers? Hope that makes sense.

If not is there another way to do this with Lutron? Really not wanting to try and drop any wires.

    Thanks!

    Welcome to the forums!

We would be happy to help find a Lutron product for this application. Were you looking for any smart capabilities (e.g. control from the Lutron app) or simple control through wireless Pico remotes? If you able to run a hot, neutral, and switch leg from these cabinet locations, a Lutron in-wall dimmer or dimming module can be used to pair with wireless Pico remotes!

Brandon, thx. It would be ok to control from an app. One wall is external and would be pretty difficult to get a switch leg to. Was sort hoping there was a way to wirelessly pair\link some Lutron product directly to some type\brand of LED driver. Like what the Armacost does I have.

Happy to help. Caseta only offers in-wall switches or dimmers that would need wiring run down to it. If you can install a junction box by the fixtures, we suggest the RMJS-PNE-DV line-voltage dimming module that can pair directly to Pico remotes. However, this would require an LED driver to be downstream. The specification sheet can be found here: https://assets.lutron.com/a/documents/3691150.pdf
