Schedule lights when you're not home

    Hello:

I would like to know the best way to schedule certain lights to come on and off during the day when I'm not home. I'd like to turn some lights on/off 8 to 10 times a night. Keep them on for say 30 minutes at a time starting at say 7 PM.

I see that I can set an auto time for 30 minutes (to turn the lights off) but do I need to have 8 to 10 different schedules to do this? Or is there a way to turn on the lights multiple times using one schedule?

Also, is there a way to set certain schedules under one grouping so I can toggle just one button and all the "not home schedules will be enabled" or do I have to turn each one on?

    thanks

Hello, welcome to the Forums! Since schedules are single-action commands, you will only be able to schedule one timeclock event per schedule, so the best solution for your application is what you described- having eight to ten schedules for those desired lights, and have each set to the Auto-Off Timer so they turn off automatically after the elapsed time. Also, unfortunately there is no way to group schedules. They will require being manually toggled if you only want them active some of the time. We hope this helps!
