Selecting a fan/light control

I am looking for a universal wall control switch for a ceiling fan with a dimmable LED light. It comes with a remote with 6 speeds, timer, etc which seems to be standard but I just want a simple wall control with fewer buttons.

I bought 4 of these fans, but I dislike the complicated remotes. They are this model:

The only Lutron fan/light wall switches I have found are made for fans with pull chains. Is there any Lutron option for fans like this that are remote-operated? I have a single wall switch and the building is 1960’s construction so assuming there’s no neutral wire. I haven’t looked behind the switch to see what’s there.

Hello Sivee, thank you for reaching out. We only make fan controls that are designed to work with standard, non-smart pull-chain fans. It is also important to note that we only have one model of dual fan/light control that is rated for dimming LED loads; that being the Maestro MACL-LFQ Fan/Light control which requires 2 separate switch-leg wires in the wall-box for the fan and light wires. Our best recommendation would be to reach out to the manufacturer of your smart fan to inquire whether it is compatible with third-party fan controls like the MACL-LFQ, and if so how to disable the proprietary remote. Otherwise they may be able to recommend a different kind of remote or wall control that would work better for you. We hope this helps!
