Question Main Repeater out-of-the-box version + microUSB connector

Does anyone know if it's normal to have a recently purchased Main Repeater come with version 7.3.0 from factory? Also, I have a Main Repeater purchased last year that came with a microUSB port on the top of the casing, have never seen that before. What is it for and why some MRs come with or without it? Thank you!

The Main Repeater for RadioRA 2 used to have a Mini USB port on the top edge, since this was disabled and could not be utilized it was determined we would remove it from the main repeater. If you have a repeater that has a USB port on it that is fine it is still compatible with any newer products by performing a firmware update through the RadioRA 2 software.
