Hi guys,
I'm not an electrician and am working in France which isn't the easiest seen the language barrier, they're not speaking any english.
So on this job the electrical company is installing for their first time a Lutron system. I've tried to be as helpful as possible and to give as much details as possible, but I'm having issues on a switching module which I don't seems to be able to help the electrician in troubleshooting.
Basically the issue one the LQSE-4S10-D is the following:
- there is no power out of a couple of outputs, the other have 220/230V coming out
- when turning off power to the Switching Module, the outputs keeps having power while I believe they should switch off
Now I am no electrician and I've never encountered this type of problem, so before swapping module for another one which I don't think will solve the issue, can I kindly ask you to confirm me what the Electrical side of things would be when wiring a Lutron Module, in particular:
-Am I right the electrician should consider the Lutron 4S10-D module as a regular interruptor switch?
-what's the wiring diagram an electricial should follow when wiring a lutron module? I mean from the Fuse board, all the way down to the Lutron Module and out to the Lighting Load, based on a switching load?
- Shouldn't they just get the Live wiring IN/OUT of each module output?
Thank you in advance for your help
