Where to buy 4-button Pico Remotes
I am looking at all of Lutron's listed resellers of Caseta products, and NONE have any of the 4 button pico remotes. So far I had to buy a few pre-etched ones on eBay, but this seems way too fugazy, and expensive... Where does one obtain these? Looking for the simple 1/2/3/4 ones mostly, black and white versions...
Thanks

Hello thrangster, welcome to the Forums! You may use our Where to Buy Tool below to search for authorized Lutron distributors, not just retailers, but electrical distributors/suppliers/wholesalers who often have a larger stock and product catalogue of Lutron offerings. You may simply put in your own zip code at the link below:
https://www.lutron.com/en-US/pages/W...=116&ZIP=18034
We hope this helps!

Sorry this does not help
My original post indicates I tried all these options. It’s not that they are out of stock, they are not even listed as products!

Some retailers (such as Home Depot, Lowes, other big box stores) have limited access to products. Giving specific model numbers to a local electrical distributor/supplier/wholesaler is often the best way to source products like Scene Pico Remotes that are not as available off-the-shelf.
That being said, as far as which model to purchase/which ones are offered, we recommend seeing the different configurations on page 4 of the following spec sheet:
https://assets.lutron.com/a/documents/3691066_eng.pdf
There is also the custom-engraved model, PJ2-4B-GWH-EL2.

I just bought a number of 4 button pico's, both dimmer and scene control's. Let me dig through my receipts and see if I can find the dealers I bought them from. I know they were both distributors, just don't have them off the top of my head, give me a day or so.

I found one of the two dealers I have recently bought 4 button picos from, it is mrsupply.com. I will keep looking for the other.

I didn;t buy from these guys recently, but were in my links folder. They seem to carry all the more esoteric 4 button picos: Prolighting.com.
The 4 button dimmers are pretty available from all the usual suspect. The scene controls seem to require a dealer with a little more inside baseball knowledge. My conclusion is Lutron thinks the 4 button scene control picos come too close to the other high end systems capabilities, so they don't help anyone much with getting them.

I don’t understand why Lutron makes it so difficult to get / purchase the more versatile Picos in their product line, the range of 4 button Picos. They provide an incredible range of flexibility in programming to a Caséta system. You just need to make sure to order the correct ones that enable full programmability.
For the most programming flexibility you will want to stay away from the Standard “-L*1” Series Picos. With these Picos, whatever devices are linked, will be controlled as a group, NOT individually. ALSO the bottom button is MANDATORY OFF.
The MOST Flexible 4 Button Scene Picos will be the “P01, P02, P03, P11, P12, P13, P14 and EL2”. The EL2 being the Custom Engraved Pico. The 2 Button Entry / Bedside Pico “P01, P02, P11, P12” is also fully programable. The 2 Button Pico I believe can also be Custom Engraved, check with Lutron Customer Service.

I agree that Lutron does a horrible job on the marketing of its most powerful feature of the Caseta line, namely scene buttons.
Ockam's Razor would probably lead to the conclusion that it is just inept management that is at the root of this issue. My theory is a little more subtle. Given how robust and well executed the Lutron product lines are, I tend to believe the problem with scene button information and availability is likely on purpose. I still believe that is poor strategic decision making, but at least it is because they want it that way.
