I installed a Claro switch (single pole now, may have been a 3-way w/ 2nd switch removed by previous homeowner) for a non-dimming light fixture. The Lutron single-pole installation diagram didn't allow for 2 blacks + 1 red wire in the existing box, so I used Lutron's instructions for dimmable/3-way fixture. Is this right? The light works but want to avoid problems later.

Should I leave the wiring as is (Diagram 2) or individually cap the blue switch wire and red box wire? Thanks for your help!
