Question removing LUT-MLC if Smart Switch is replaced with mechanical switch?

Hello: I am renting a home, and interested in adding PD-5WS and pico remote to have 2way switch in the basement for temporary home theater. There is no neutral in the wall mounted switch box . I would be controlling approx. 10--8watt light fixtures. I understand the I may have to install a LUT -MLC.

If I were to move out of the rental and replace the smart switch with the original mechanical switch, do i need to remove the LUT-MLC also ?

Hello dgroffb3 and welcome to the forums!

The LUT-MLC can be left in the fixture as this will not impact performance when used on a mechanical switch.
