Caseta wireless remote randomly adding other switches and controlling them as well!

I have a light that is on a single Caseta switch. I have a wireless remote married to that switch and for a long time it has worked fine. Last week, I used that remote to turn on that single light, and the proper light turned on, but so did another close by light controlled by another caseta switch. Both now seem to be controlled by this remote. Then a few days later, a third light on a different caseta switch seems to be now responding to this remote as well.

Can anyone tell me what is going on?

I tried to do the remarry it to the original light, but holding the off button for 6 (or more) seconds (as seen in your video) does NOTHING.The light does not come on (as seen in the video) and the LEDs do not start flashing.

So my question is this: How do I "unmarry" this remote from the lights I DO NOT want it to control, and then remarry it to a switch that does not seem to obey the six second marry rule?

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Never mind. I think I found another thread that led me to the cause.

It seems that when a created a room called Dining Room, the app decided that the Pico Remote obviously should control ALL the lights in that room, including any lights added to that room.

I see this as a bug. I did not add any lights to the Pico other than the one it was originally married to. Seems the app is making decisions for me. At the least, it should tell me it added two new lights to the Pico.

And I still want to know why the six second holding on those Caseta switches no longer works? Is this also an effect of the Lutron app?

We're sorry to hear about this Pico trouble. As you stated, the Caseta Hub will pair the Pico to the same lights that are in the room inside the Lutron app automatically. We appreciate this feedback and can understand it may be a bit annoying when using multiple Pico remotes. If necessary, you may unpair the Pico remote to those lights by opening the Lutron app, locating the Pico remote that needs to be edited > tap it and select "Edit Device" > "Devices" > and deselect the dimmer or switch that you do not want on the Pico > "Save".

When a dimmer or switch is added to the Caseta Hub it will ignore manual pairing attempts (the six second hold you are mentioning). This is because once the device is added to the system, all devices must pair through the Caseta Hub instead. If you wanted to add a new Pico remote, please open the Lutron app and tap Settings > Add Device > Pico Remote.
