    Pico counting towards device limit.

    Hi,
just want to be clear. If I use a Pico with a Claro switch, I can pair the Pico directly with the switch and only the switch would count as a device on the hub, is that correct? I’m planing out a future build and I am at 60 devices already and trying to save space.

    Thanks

    Hello FPP777,

In this application, both the Pico and Claro switch will be added in, counting towards the device limit. If a Pico is paired to any Caseta device in standalone mode, then paired to the app, the hardwired device will pull in any previously paired Pico remotes.

If this is a hardwired application, we recommend taking advantage of the Claro Accessory switch. This device will not count towards the device limit. More information can be found here: Claro Accessory Switch for Caseta | Lutron
