We have had a PD-5WS-DV controlling our outside light for almost 10 years. A few weeks ago, the light stopped working, and we figured it was the bulb, but were not able to easily change it since it is at a second story level and needs a big ladder. We changed it this weekend. The old bulb was a CFL (14 Watts). We replaced it with an Ecosmart LED (8.3 Watts). Now the light turns on, with a green led on the switch, but when we try to turn it off at the switch, it just goes dim, and all the leds on the switch go out, and it won't turn on again. The only way to turn the light completely off is to use the FASS switch. When we push that back in, the light lights up again, and same cycle.
My research indicates that an LUT-MLC could fix this, but I can't find the one that came with the switch in 2015, so where would I get one? We do have a neutral wire, so a newer PD-5ANS might also fix the problem, but might also need the MLC, which I don't believe is included. Or a bulb that uses more Watts, although I really don't want to deal with the ladder again so soon...
All our other Lutron switches in the house work fine, btw.
Recommendations on the best way to fix this?
Thanks
