    Maestro controlled lights flash

I have two rooms with LED lights in the ceiling. Each set of lights are controlled by their own switch/dimmer.

Occasionaly, but not always, when turning on the lights, they flash on/off once… the. After a few seconds, come on and stay on.
    this happens in both rooms.

    Any idea why?

    Hello C5 Pete,

We welcome to the forums! Could you please provide the model number of the Maestro dimmers as well as those LED lights? Have you also tried adjusting the low-end trim of the dimmer?

Thank you for replying to my post.

I believe I did the setup process that you linked prior to posting this thread, but I just did it again.

This is an odd issue, as it’s intermittent.

I’m using a Maestro master switch to control three of these lights.

I am unable to upload a pic of the box…

Thank you and I’m sorry for the late response.

No worries, thanks for the update. It sounds like the fixtures may be having intermittent trouble when cold-started. Could you please try some additional programming? Have a look at the MACL-153M Advanced Programming Guide here: 048459b Maestro CL Advanced Programming Mode (lutron.com)

Please try adjusting the Fade On time to a slower rate. Also, we recommend backing the High-End trim down a few ticks just to test as well. Please let us know if you have any questions on that guide!

    Fixed..

The one room I did your procedure in has been working fine.

Today I did the same procedure in the other room and it’s working fine as well.

As I mentioned, I thought I had initially set it up correctly, but clearly I had not.

Thank you very much for the assistance.
