Please help me get connected to my Lutron System

I bought a house last week and it is built with a Lutron (Caseta?) system with automatic blinds and lights. The previous owner never disclosed this and so this is all new to me. There is a blue Lutron control panel in the basement next to the electrical box. All the blinds have a Pico remote but none of them work to raise the blinds (I replaced the 2032 battery inside the remotes as well).

I have no idea if it has a Smart Hub (or if it even needs one) or where it'd be located. I also don't know if the previous owner removed this system from their app (they are now out of the country and uncontactable).

Suggestions on what my first step/subsequent steps should be to get this working and connected? Try to connect to it via the app? Reset the blinds manually? Connect anything to my new internet service?

Sorry, this is all extremely new to me and I'm not sure where to start. I'm happy to provide more details if needed. Thank you!!!

Hello templeowls, welcome to the Forums! We are sorry to hear about the difficulty you've encountered; we're happy to help get your system online. Can you provide us with a model number on the blue Lutron control panel in the basement, to help us ascertain your system type and provide instructions from there?

Thanks so much for your cooperation!

    Of course! It is CSPS-P1-10-6.

It was difficult, but I did also find the smart hub too.

Any next suggested steps would be awesome, largely since this is not a new system but an existing one that is likely still tied to the previous owners account/app (not sure if that even matters tho)

    Thanks!!

Thank you for clarifying. The CSPS-P1-10-6 will be the panel supplying those shades power. Great work locating the Hub, from here you can download the Lutron app on your phone and sign up for a Lutron account. Please proceed through adding the existing Hub to your account. After the app prompts you to press the button on the back of the unit it will then prompt you with a confirmation to transfer ownership. This will import all of the Devices, Scenes, and Schedules created by the previous owner. So the app is asking if I'm setting up a new caseta system when I press 'add home'. It's a new system for me/my app but not a new system in general, so I'm not sure which option to choose. Any suggestions?

Please select "No" when you are prompted. Proceed through the on-screen instructions and the app should eventually discover the Caseta Hub over your local network.

Keep up the good work as they say. This is already normal, wow.
