Replacing Intermatic Dial Timer Switch with Caseta

I do maintenance for a neighborhood pool. They have landscape lighting that runs off of an Intermatic T104 24 hour dial time switch. I'm not a certified electrician and don't pretend to be one, but I thought I'd check here before I have an electrician come out. Would replacing this with a Caseta switch be possible?

I see you’re looking into replacing your Intermatic T104 with a Caseta switch. I recently did something similar for my own backyard lighting. While I’m no certified electrician either, I’ve found that the Caseta switches are pretty user-friendly and come with clear instructions.

I actually had a similar situation at my home where I wanted to upgrade my old dial timer switch. I replaced it with a Caseta switch, and it worked great! From what I understand, the Caseta switch can definitely handle landscape lighting, but you might want to check if the load and voltage match up. It’s always good to have innovative electrical expertise for these things. I found the guidance on kanatautilitiesltd.ca really helpful when I was figuring things out. Like you, I'm not a certified electrician, so I still had one come out just to be sure everything was safe and up to code. Better safe than sorry, right?
