Caseta PD-6ANS-WH won't turn on fan lights... must use pull chain?

I am replacing two standard toggle switches that operate our fan lights and fan.

For the lights I connected the PD-6ANS-WH switch and for the fan I installed the PD-FSQN-WH control switch.

The fan control switch works perfect with power on and off and fan speed.

The PD-6ANS-WH switch will not turn on the lights. The green LED light on the switch will light up, but the lights on the fan will only turn on when I pull the toggle switch on the fan. Then I can use the PD-6ANS-WH switch to turn off the lights, but it will not then turn them on again. My regular toggle switch works find. I suppose I'll have to buy a regular rocker type toggle switch for the fan light too, unless someone has another solution.

Please don't tell anyone... I had my wires crossed, in more ways than one.
