Diva LED+ Dimmer and Neutral Wire

I purchased some Diva LED+ dimmer switches. Now I see the Diva doesn't require a neutral wire. However, I do have neutral wires in the boxes. Can I use the Diva if a neutral wire is present, or should I purchase a different dimmer switch? If I use the Diva, what are the potential issues?

    TIA!

Hello, thanks for reaching out. You can use a non-neutral Diva like the DVCL-153P in a location where you have a neutral-bundle present. You just wont hook up the Diva dimmer to the neutral-bundle, leave the bundle tucked in the back of the wall-box. If you are dimming a lighting load that requires reverse-phase or ELV dimming, then the neutral-based DVRP-253P Diva dimmer may be needed instead which does tie in to that neutral. If you use the wrong dimmer for your lighting load, you may find flashing/flickering or the dimmer may not turn the lights on at all.

How do I know if it requires "reverse-phase or ELV dimming"?

    TIA

It depends on the lighting load that is being used. The specification sheet of the bulb or fixture you are using should say which dimming protocol it is compatible with.
