Pico on Main Repeater 2 does not control Dimmer on Main Repeater 1

Hi,

I will try to be brief.

New to RA2. Using 12.10.0 Inclusive software.

Test 1

Two Main Repeaters with most recent firmware
One Dimmer on MR 1
Two Picos on MR 1
Both Picos configured to control Dimmer.
Activation went fine
Transfer went fine
Testing went fine

Test 2
Two Main Repeaters as before
One Dimmer on MR1 as before
One Pico on MR1 as before
One Pico on MR2 (moved from MR1)
Both Picos configured to control Dimmer as before
Channel change of Pico on MR2 went fine
Activation went fine
Transfer went fine
Testing did NOT go fine:
- The Pico on MR1 worked as before
- The Pico on MR2 no longer controlled the Dimmer on MR1
- The RF light on MR2 flickered in response to pressing buttons on the Pico on MR2

Created Telnet logins on both MRs
Telnetted into to both MRs.
Could see Telnet output on both MRs matching button presses of Pico on MR1 AND Pico on MR2
Could send commands via Telnet on either MR and Dimmer behaved correctly

Could not get Dimmer on MR1 to respond to Pico on MR2

Any ideas what I did wrong?

Well I sorted out the problem.

When I moved Pico #2 from a room under MR1 to a room under MR2 the programming of the Pico to the Dimmer seemed to "come along". Clicking on any button of the Pico showed the correct setting for the Dimmer.

But it didn't work.

So I deleted all the programming connections from the Pico to the Dimmer and did it again.

After transferring now both Picos controlled the dimmer.

All is good. Lesson learned.
