Trouble wiring DVCL

I’m having some trouble wiring a DVCL dimmer
It’s a single pole as far as I can tell

But looks like 2 load wires - not sure where they are going to (one goes to the light above).

I’ve tried connecting the load wires to the red cables - nothing coming on though.

Can you connect both load wires to the one red cable?

Also to provide some further background the original toggle switch had the 2 load wires backstabbed into it and the hot wire looped around one screw (and the ground around the green screws)

It’s possible that you have two load wires because there may have been a fan light there at one time. You can check this by unmounting you light to view the wiring, there might be that second load wire capped inside that would have controlled the fan.
