220 V electronic dimmable with resistive and inductive dimmers

    Hi and happy new year!

Hope this question was not answered before.

I have a ceiling light with electronic transformer (dimmable with resistive and inductive dimmers, 210 V 0.87 A, sec 11.6 V eff 18.5 V), bought in Europe (voltage is 220 V).

I was wondering whether I could use it in North America with 110 V voltage. It is written overload and short circuit protection.
What may happen if I connect this transformer to 110 V voltage (with dimmer wall switch).

    Thanks.

    David.

Hello David. We cannot comment on another manufacturers fixture. Please contact the fixture manufacturer or review the spec sheet for the fixture to see if it is safe to connect it to 110V.
