I just replaced a Lutron Diva dimmer that had one active (?red) wire with another that had two identical wires. I capped one with the blue cap as directed and reinstalled the switch with the dimmer slider on the right so that the light is brighter with the slider up. The problem is that the on position for the paddle (rocker) switch is with the lower half depressed. If I pull the switch out and cap the other red wire with the blue cap, using the currently capped red as active, will that reverse the paddle action without changing the dimmer, i.e. Will depressing the top of the paddle turn the switch on and will up on the slider still be full bright? If not, is there some other way to correct this?
