    PJ2-P2B-xxx Pico Paddle

There is a new Pico remote noted on Lutron's product page. Older Pico devices are compatible with RA2. The new paddle notes compatibility with RA3. Simple enough. Since RA3 is backward compatible to RA2, does that include this device?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

As far as I'm aware, any PJ2 model is cross compatible with all of Lutron's ecosystem from Caseta to Homeworks. So this model should work in RA2 & RA3

Has anyone else had any luck on this? It doesn't look like RR2 software has been updated since the paddle pico was released. When I try to activate one using a different Pico layout from the software, I get "incorrect device type". I haven't tried activating it directly via the main repeater but I may play around with that.

Here's an alternative: If you want these bad enough to spend $$ (such as upgrading to RR3), I did find an alternative solution - the board from a regular pico fits in a paddle pico case with some trimming so for $40 you can get a RR2 compatible paddle pico (and probably a 2 button pico that's not). The light is not in the correct place but it's mostly useless anyway. I tested the WAF and my wife agrees that the paddle makes a lot more sense than the flat picos for wall mounts. The flat ones are fine for the pedestal mount. I have four Grafik eyes so I'm not rushing to upgrade to RR3. I thought about going with one processor for each, but they just gave us access to inclusive not long ago so I'm happy to finally have a 2 processor system that works together.

Hi, the Paddle Pico is not compatible with Radio Ra2, it will work with Ra2 Select, Radio Ra3, HomeWorks QSX and Caseta. Since the Radio Ra2 system has been discontinued, it is no longer being updated with newer products.
