    Pico remote for old system?

We have a legacy Sivoia QED shade from ~2007. The wall control switch works fine, but the remote has stopped working, even with new batteries. Fairly sure the IR receiver is working.
Will the available Pico PJ2-3BRL-GWH-S01 unit work as a replacement? Any Addressing or Programming needed?

Hello, The Pico remotes PJ2-xxx are Radio Frequency Based and will not work with Infrared Technology. If you are using the (Infrared) IR receiver you will need to use an Infrared Remote like the SVIT-CS-WH. Only issue is QED shades and components have been discontinued and are no longer manufactured by Lutron. There is an upgrade path where you can change out the QED motor for a QS motor, swap the power supplies, and use the Wireless RF Antenna. This will allow you to use the RF Pico Remote. You can learn more here: https://support.lutron.com/us/en/pro...from-QED-to-QS

Thanks for all that info, Freddy G. On the page from the link you included for the Upgrade Path, there is a 'before' diagram showing a QED system with a Lutron Wireless Receiver. Since my QED Drive & PS seem to be working well, is there a way substitute a Wireless Receiver for the existing IR Receiver (globe-like) and then use a Lutron Wireless Remote?

The QED receiver was an IR receiver. Model number SV-IR-WH. This was a 3-wire control that attached to the QED shades. The QSYC-J-RCVR antenna is a 4-wire control that won't fit on the existing QED 3-pin connector. The RF wireless receivers "speak a different language" that the QED shades are unable to understand. There isn't any way to have an RF device control QED shades.

Brian - I can purchase a Lutron 4LZ67 (PerSonna) Infrared Remote Control on EBay. Would this work with my a legacy Sivoia QED shade? Second question: is there a listing somewhere of the IR codes for the a legacy Sivoia QED shade? Perhaps I could program a Universal IR Remote to operate the shade.
