What do you think of Designer 23.5?
I just uploaded to a project and the processor was updated to 23.5 firmware. I downloaded the new version of designer and found I can no longer open a file on my computer. Your choices are only those files that have been uploaded to the cloud. Luckily I still have 23.4 loaded which did allow me to open a file from my computer.
On the upside, I did see a client that wants out for a warranty call had another company from out of state last do work on her software.

wait really??? Is this a bug or is it cloud only now? This is the reason I dont update without letting everyone else beta test the software...

I will still use 23.4 for that same reason. Sometimes the clients requests are beyond standard programming and it will need testing. No good reason to share it with the cloud if it is not known to work. We need the ability to still load files locally. I also found the cloud to be slow making corrections, switching tabs, etc, even with a 300 download speed.

Watched one of the Lutron training videos on this cloud file bs. There is an option to load a local file and export to a local file when you are done.

The fact that you have to do extra steps to save locally is a load of crap. If Lutron wants to store it in the cloud for some reason, I am not going to argue with that. However, I now have to remember to "export" the program to have a local copy is an overstep. Also, why do I have to select dark mode every time I open the software. Can't it remember that is my preference?
