I prefer hard wired wall dimmer switches, but I like the Pico remote's round button - it's easier to find in the dark.
Why don't the wall dimmers also have that button?

Hello,
The Caséta ELV+ Dimmer (model # PD-5NE) does have the same favorite light level button as the Pico wireless remotes. This feature was added to the dimmers after the launch of the PD-6WCL and PD-10NXD which is why it is only present on the PD-5NE dimmer.
Thanks - I'll start looking for that model. But stocks at stores are still down compared to pre Covid levels. Can I order them directly from Lutron?
Another switch question - I want to also install that switch in my stairs which have 3 way switches at the top and bottom. We had two 3 wat on/off toggle switches and I had an electrician try to replace them with two Caseta dimmer switch (the ones without the favorites button). He couldn't get them to work, so he ended up installing one Caseta on/off switch at the top of the stairs and leaving the toggle switch at the bottom because I didn't want use a battery powered Caseta dimmer for the 2nd. is it possible to use two Caseta hard wired dimmer switches together? If so, could you explain how to do that?
The PD-5NE is considered one of the Pro Dimmers which are not sold at big box stores, but can be found and ordered through a local distributor or supply house in your area, as Lutron does not sell directly to consumers. Linked here is the Where To Buy site that you can use to find such locations.
You cannot use two in-wall Caseta master controls in the same 3-way. Linked here is a helpful knowledge article from the Caseta Support site on Installing Caséta for a light with two switches with more information on the 3-way options with Caseta controls.
