    Installing Two LUT-MLC

I am getting the red LED on one of my PD-5WS-DV-WH switches even though there is a single LUT-MLC resistor installed at the fixture. I have been told that a second resistor may be necessary for this fixture. I am thinking the two resistors should be wired in series not in parallel to get the greater resistance. Am I correct?

    Hello,

Typically only one LUT-MLC capacitor is needed per circuit. However, we have had reports of installers using 2 LUT-MLC's wired in parallel to get certain loads to work. What is the PD-5WS-DV controlling and what is the total wattage/amperage of the load?

I installed a second LUT-MLC in the box with the switch and things are back to normal, everything is working correctly. It was a tight fit, but I got it in there.
