    Question Processor -> switch/dimmer issue

    Hello, all.

    I have an elderly HRP5-120 processor running v1.64 with nearly 60 dimmers/switches. It has been running beautifully for many years...no complaints.

    So all is fine, except: I recently modified a project and uploaded it; several units (dimmers, switch) fail to upload properly, as noted in the log.

    HOWEVER: those units DO respond to commands from the System Control window (reached from the Terminal screen), so I know the processor can see and control them.

    Under what circumstances would this happen? How can I fix the issue?

    I have not tried un-addressing and re-addressing the units, thinking that the issue isn't really a processor-to-dimmer issue, but...I don't know. Any helpful ideas will be greatly appreciated.

    This happens a lot. It usually means the software didn't get confirmation that the data was received.

    In the terminal screen, under RF/QED Device Commands, you can retry the devices that it thought had an error.

    You can also use the command SENDDB, <address> to update a single device.

    I confirmed the problem units with RFDBSTAT, then ran RETRYDB. Two of the three units updated, but the third did not.

    I used SENDDB, 01:08:01:43 multiple times (6x? 8x?) on that third unit, but it still comes back as "invalid DB." I've also tried RETRYDB a couple more times, with the same result.
