RadioRa2 Shade setup

Hey Everyone,

I have been programing radiora2 devices for sometime but never set up any shades. Conveniently, a client now wants some shades installed. I have looked around but can’t seem to find any documentation on the setup. What kind of “Dimmer” device do I need to use. I usually work with the pro dimmers but when its connected I am getting the lights 1,2,and 3 flashing.

I can’t seem to connect the shades to the main repeater and really could use some help.

You don’t use dimmers with shades. Battery operated shades connect directly to the repeater and wired shades have a controller that you activate and program. You can control the shades with a Pico or any keypad button.

Shades are activated and assigned to a main repeater the same way dimmers are. There is a separate tab for activating the shades. You must have shades entered in the design for the shade activation tab to show up.

Shades can be programmed to any Pico, keypad, or timed event in the system.

Thanks guys. Looks like the company that installed the shades manually programed them to a keypad and the programming obviously erased when I reprogrammed everything. Is there any documetition on how to reset the device and reconfigure it?
