    Angry PD-6WCL stopped working

    We bought 5 dimmer caseta + pico we installed and was working fine until 3 days ago, all green lights turned off and dimmer stopped working, it happened at night but in the morning worked all good, then at night was working fine and we turned off before going to bed and happened again dimmer stopped working. I have checked the load is working fine I connected directly to energy and worked fine, also I checked connections and no sign of short circuit or temperature damage.

    Hello,

    Sorry to hear you are having issues with your Caséta dimmers. To better troubleshoot can you provide the make and model of the lights that are being controlled by the dimmers? Also, are these dimmers installed in single-pole applications, 3-ways, or a mix of both? If in 3-ways have we removed the remaining 3-way switch and installed the Pico remote? Lastly, are you using the Caséta dimmers with the smart hub and Lutron app or standalone?

    Hello

    Dimmers are installed in 3 way application, yes the other 3 way switches were removed and pico installed, yes, they are installed with smart hub and lutron app. led lights is a strip led light, the make and model dont know but as I could see they work with 120 V AC, they dont have a driver.

    Thanks for the reply. From your Lutron app can you please submit support logs to our technical support team by following the steps below:

    - Make sure your smartphone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the Caséta bridge. If not, we will not get the proper information needed to further troubleshoot the issue.
    - In the Lutron app, go to Settings > Help > Submit Support Logs.
    - Complete the section asking what type of issue you are having and provide as much detail as possible. Be sure to include dates and times the issue is occurring.
    - Lastly, after selecting "Send Support Request Email", when the email with the logs appears, confirm the support log identifier is in the body of the email and the hit send from your mail client.

    If the logs do not indicate any commands or events are occurring around the dates and times provided it is possible we are running into a minimum load issue or an incompatibility between the LED strip light and the PD-6WCL dimmers. Are you able to test any of the dimmers with an incandescent load or with a compatible LED from our LED Finder Tool (lutron.com/ledfinder) to see if we can replicate this issue?
