I am a homeowner without a lot of tech savy.
My electrician installed a pendant light for me, to hang directly in front of a window.
Once connected, the fixture lit up but is flickering and won't turn off.
My electrician told me that the problems are because the Caseta dimmer adjusts the light level to compensate/accomodate for the amount of sunlight.
This makes no sense to me. Are there really people who want their lights adjusting when a cloud goes over the sun?
Obviously, my electrician needs to fix this. (Wiring seems the likely culprit to me.) I am only writing to see whether he is speaking nonsense to me.
Maybe I need a new electrician...
Thank you!
