Question PD-3PCL Overloaded Blown fuse - can I replace it?

My housekeeper tried to plug an iron into my lamp dimmer and it appears dead. Is there a fuse inside that can be replaced? Surely there's some safeguard to protect the switch?

Hello, unfortunately there is not the PD-3PCL would need to be replaced if that damaged it. The PD-3PCL does only have a 2-prong to try to prevent this and we also print "Lamps Only" in black text under the receptacle as a reminder when plugging things in.

That is an unfortunate design flaw for a $50 switch. An iron is not 3-pronged and the text can only be read if one can read english.
