PPTP VPN - Weak Encryption Developments (Alternate Choices??)

    Hello everyone,

My question relates to using a PPTP VPN for Remote programming, or more directly the newly discovered weakness in the encryption used for PPTP VPNs.

My question is, can I choose a different type of VPN (a more secure VPN configuration) for Lutron Remote Programming? I have only seen VPN examples using PPTP.

Any other choices available so I don't have to leave a gaping hole in my clients internet security??

    you can use IPSec

Remember any vpn you use will not allow remote extraction uploading or activating works fine remotely.Y ou must use UNICAST rather then MULTICAST for connection type on the processor for connecting remotely so extraction won't work.
