    Caseta running TorchStar

I have an array of 32ea. 13.5W LED fixtures at 120VAC for a total of 432 W or 3.6A. I note that in some references the wattage on the PD-5ANS is limited to 150 Watts however, Caseta Wireless Controls SPEC (369987) indicates that the PD-5ANS is capable if 5A. Please clarify.

Hello. Yes, the PD-5ANS is rated for 5A of control. The only Caseta devices that are limited to 150W are the PD-6WCL and the new DVRF-6L.

Thank you!! Is there a dimmer which will handle 450W?

The highest rated dimmers in the Caseta family are the PD-5NE and PD-10NXD which both have a max rating of 250W for LEDs. We do make a power module, model PHPM-PA-120-WH, that can handle a full 16A of lighting load. This module would get wired between the dimmer and the lighting load. Compatible LEDs for this module can be found on lutron.com/ledtool.
